How to Use the Online Scientific Calculator

Whether you are solving SEE Optional Mathematics trigonometry identities or NEB Class 11/12 Physics and Chemistry numericals, follow these steps:

Degrees to Radians:   θ (radians) = θ (degrees) × (π ÷ 180)
Logarithm Identity:   log₁₀(x) = ln(x) ÷ ln(10)
Factorial Definition: n! = n × (n − 1) × … × 2 × 1   (where 0! = 1)

Example 1 (Trigonometry in DEG mode): Compute sin(30) + cos(60):

sin(30°) = 0.5, cos(60°) = 0.5 → 0.5 + 0.5 = 1

Example 2 (pH & Logarithms): Compute -log(0.001):

-log₁₀(10⁻³) = 3

Frequently Asked Questions

Use the DEG / RAD toggle buttons at the top of the calculator keypad. In DEG mode, sin(30) evaluates to 0.5; in RAD mode, sin(pi/6) evaluates to 0.5.

The log function computes the common logarithm with base 10 (for example, log(100) = 2), whereas ln computes the natural logarithm with base e ≈ 2.71828 (for example, ln(e) = 1).

Yes. You can type numbers, +, -, *, /, ^, %, !, parentheses ( ), Enter to evaluate, Backspace to delete a character, and Escape to clear.

Our controlled expression parser strictly follows mathematical precedence: parentheses and functions first, followed by factorials and powers (right-associative), then multiplication and division, and finally addition and subtraction.
